Ion® SumPro® Platinum
Dual Pump Battery Backup AC System
Features two 3/4 HP stainless steel and cast iron pumps for day-to-day runs on household power, with automatic AC power backup to safeguard pumping during outages.
Identical heavy-duty pumps fully-loaded for seamless primary and battery backup operations, with alternating runs each cycle and redundancy protection if either were to become inoperable.
Runs on stored battery backup in absence of main power source. Converts 24-volt DC power into 120-volt AC power to offset supply disruptions (requires two AGM batteries, available separately).
Rated to pump 75 GPM (at 10' of head). Preserves high pumping capacity without gradual performance loss, even while running on battery backup. Energy-efficient pumps only draw 7.5 amps.
Smart-sensing Ion Genesis controller operates without any moving parts, and includes a backup level sensor. Monitors pump activity and conditions, built-in alarm enables real-time detections.

Ion BA75i Pumps
Dual Pumps – 3/4 HP Stainless Steel & Cast Iron
Two identical primary sump pumps systematically alternate each cycle. Sustains pumping for normal day-to-day uses with continued availability when supply from utility becomes unavailable.
- Rated pumping capacity at 75 GPM (at 10′ of head).
- Constructed with stainless steel housing and cast iron base.
- High-efficiency motor with thermal overload protection in the event of overheating.
- Also available for selection as an individual pump.
Ion Genesis
Smart Sensing Controller & Alarm
Programmable pump controller with solid-state level sensing. Monitors pumping and application in real time, operates and alternates each pump with no moving parts or contact points.
- Proprietary level sensor and solid-state design pioneered for the residential market in 2010 with the original Ion Switch.
- Secondary sensor detects high water, functions as an emergency level sensor to control pumps in the event that main sensor fails.
- Multiple alarms available for configuration, such as high water threats, excessive run times, power loss, and pump failure.
- Also available for selection as an individual controller.
Power+ AGM Batteries
Two Deep Cycle Batteries
Supports harsh sump environments and heavy pump use with an average service life that doubles standard backup pump batteries.
- Two 12 volt Power+ AGM batteries supply DC power to the SumPro’s built-in inverter to output steady AC power to system pumps.
- True deep cycle battery withstands excessive depletions/charging.
- Comes fully charged and easy to install. End-user friendly.
- Not included with system. Available for individual battery selection from Ion Technologies product suppliers and installers.
Power Inverter
15 Amp Inverter & Charger
Converts stored DC power stored from connected AGM batteries to standard AC power to supply the SumPro Platinum pumps during power outages. Pumps operate without gradual performance loss to keep up with water threats coinciding with power loss.
- Supplied auxiliary AC power maintains high pumping capacity during emergency usage.
- Automatically charges battery when main electric supply is restored. Stays fully charged while on standby.
- Bypasses battery while system pumps run on available domestic supply, enabling efficient day-to-day primary pumping.
