Ion Genesis

Programmable Pump Controller & Sump Monitoring

Primed for High Performance Backup

Our 1/3 HP cast iron sump pump as an automatic backup in response to power loss or high water. Advanced AC powering with energy efficient safeguards enables steady, high performance backup when needed most.

Multi-Purpose Use & Coverage

Dedicated backup to a separate primary pump inoperable from power loss or mechanical failure. In absence of a separate primary, functions as both the everyday sump pump and as a backup during power outages.

Household AC from One of Two Power Sources

Consumes 120-volt AC from house utility or converted DC (requires separate 12-volt deep cycle battery). Maximizes pumping capacity and runtime availability during use as a primary or backup, including power outages.

Equipped with the Ion+ Digital Level Control & Alarm

Stationary float sensor switch reduces cycles and extends pump life with its high-volume water removal efficiency. LCD display signals system metrics; audible alarm notifies when water exceeds high level setting.

Features the Ion Technologies WC33i

High-Capacity & Energy-Efficient Primary Sump Pump

  • Dual source AC power configuration preserves its 1/3 HP pump capacity strength, rated 43 GPM at 10-foot total dynamic head, through full duration of use.
  • Low 4.0 amp load maximizes runtime efficiency. Consumes power sparingly to lessen day-to-day utility use; prolongs battery availability in emergencies for extended runtime during power outages.
  • Heavy duty cast iron material withstands excessive, high demand use. Offsets wear and tear, extending service life.
  • Well equipped for continuous or high water flows. High water removal efficiency offsets flood risks to keep basements dry, day-to-day and during emergencies.

Converts DC Battery Power to Standard AC Electricity

      • Immediately detects when house electric becomes unavailable. Heavy-duty power inverter automatically converts DC battery power from one 12-volt Power+ AGM (sold separately) to 120-volt standard AC electricity to fully run the system pump.
      • Maintains its high rated pumping capacity through from onset through full duration of use to push out water and keep the basement dry during power outages. Sustains full performance until battery is completely depleted.
      • Low amp pump draw consumes half the power of conventional pumps to save battery and extend runtime. Power+ AGM’s 100 amp draw capacity offers nearly twice the amount of power of typical marine batteries.
      • Power inverter’s built-in charger powers battery back to 100 percent once house electric returns. Stays fully charged for when the next outage occurs.

Runs off House Electricity, Avoids Unnecessary Battery Use

      • Activates the system pump once water in the sump pit reaches a specific level,  presumingly as a result of a mechanical failure to an existing primary sump pump.
      • Runs off house electric, completely bypassing the battery and avoiding unnecessary use  as long as utility power remains available.
      • Continues running as needed while maintaining its high rated pumping capacity. Leaves reasonably ample time for servicing or replacing of the inoperable primary.
      • Consumes battery only when house electric becomes unavailable. Ensures battery stays at 100 percent and fully charged for backup use when the next outage occurs.

Eliminates Common Mechanical Pump Failure

      • Solid-state pump control pioneered by Ion Technologies. Proprietary digital float sensor detects water levels to electronically turn system pump on/off with zero moving parts to wear or fail, virtually eliminating common pump failures.
      • Removes up to 6-inches of water per cycle, one-third times more than with traditional pump switches. Reduces number of cycles to lessen pump activations over time and prolong pump life.
      • Integrated alarms notify via LED indicators and audible buzzer when water continues to rise. Allows opportunity for response to an arising problem.
      • Optional upgrade to the Ion Genesis smart controller with programmable level adjustments and additional system monitoring.
